About the Artists

Claudia and Giorgio moved to Finnmark almost 20 years ago from Italy, and the love for the region is shown in their artwork.

Claudia draws constant inspiration from the Arctic landscape surrounding her. She interprets this powerful environment through humor, imagination, and finely detailed engravings. She offers workshops for both beginners and more experienced artists.

Giorgio creates frames and one-of-a-kind furniture pieces using reclaimed wood collected from abandoned houses and the shoreline of Eastern Finnmark. Each piece reflects the history and character of the materials and the landscape they come from.

These courses offer a rare opportunity to work closely with both technique and material, inspired by one of the most authentic and untamed regions of the Nordics.
